In 2009, 80 finalists were recognized and 13 honorees were spotlighted at the Information Technology Executive of the Year Awards, along with two special award honorees. The first- ever Cox Business Exemplary Award was presented to Elliott Allen of SAIC. The well-attended event was held at the Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines on April 23, 2009.
