Still, Luke Campbell remains “hands on,” personally contributing to long-term efficiency and cost effectiveness by implementing scalable solutions, maintaining infrastructure proactively, and ensuring proper lifecycle management to help schools maximize their technology investments.

JERAMIE BROWN
GOVERNMENT AWARD WINNER

Jeramie Brown is somewhat an anomaly.

As the Chief Information Officer for the Nevada Department of Transportation, he oversees technology strategy and operations both locally and across Southern Nevada. It’s not an insignificant undertaking – managing infrastructure, staff, cybersecurity, digital transformation and stakeholder relationships across the complex public-sector environment, but for Jeramie, it’s simply where the road begins.

Serving as president of AITP Las Vegas, he’s helping revive the once dormant chapter – approaching burdensome issues with aplomb, and steadily growing consensus where ambivalence once prevailed.

In partnership with SkillBridge, he’s paved a road to employment at NDOT for veterans pursuing careers in technology.

And to help underserved communities access technology education, Jeramie Brown volunteers with Tech Impact, investing in the next generation through avid student mentorship.

RYAN WILSON
NONPROFIT AWARD WINNER

From driving un-tethered financial sustainability to integrating assistive technology into his workflow,

the Blind Center of Nevada’s Director of Operations, Ryan Wilson has turned the nonprofit into a self-sustaining business ecosystem, and more.

Under Ryan’s leadership, the Center’s Electronic Recycling & Refurbishment Operation has shifted from a scrap-only model to a sophisticated, fully certified, protocol-abiding refurbish-first operation – One that gives the nonprofit access to institutional opportunities, and has resulted in enough volume and revenue growth to fund nearly 80% of the Blind Center’s charitable operations.

And Ryan’s innovative approach is helping the planet too. The Blind Center now diverts millions of pounds of toxic waste that would otherwise be destined for landfills, as Ryan Wilson’s workflow, engineered for individuals with varying degrees of visual impairment, is recognized as a model of inclusive tech design.

DAN CICCARELLI
HOSPITALITY & ENTERTAINMENT AWARD WINNER

Dan Ciccarelli is the Chief Information Officer of International Game Technology (IGT). There, he leads global technology strategy and a team of more than 1000 tech professionals across 20-plus countries in support of thousands of casino, digital, and fintech endpoints.

No stranger to fintech, Dan was serving as CIO of financial technology and loyalty solutions provider, Everi, when it merged with IGT. He’s credited with leading the two companies’ benchmark-setting large-scale integration – unifying hundreds of systems across a global enterprise, without interruption and within regulatory constraints.

Today, Dan Ciccarelli is focused on “next steps,” for fintech-enhanced IGT, including  broadening the adoption of cashless gaming and digital wallet ecosystems across the thousands of casino properties IGT supports. A worldwide shift that could soon give new meaning to the act of tapping a slot machine.

RAFAEL KARTASZYNSKI
HEALTHCARE & BIOTECH AWARD WINNER

Rafael Kartaszynski (KAR-ta-zinn-ski) is the CEO of Diagnomatic,(dye-AG-no-mat-tic)  the single cloud-based platform that enables healthcare providers to monitor, manage, and validate the performance of multiple imaging devices across multiple locations in real time.

Integrating seamlessly with such imaging modalities as MRI, CT, and mammogram, Rafael’s platform helps minimize diagnostic errors, reduce unnecessary radiation exposure, and enable early disease detection. From a cost perspective, it improves operational efficiency by reducing labor-intensive procedures.

Now globally recognized, Diagnomatic is helping modernize diagnostic infrastructure across public hospitals in both developed and emerging markets. It’s a testament to Rafael Kartaszynski’s acuity as an ecosystem-building technologist. It also speaks to his talent as a collaborative, consensus-building technology leader.

VITO ROCCO
CYBERSECURITY AWARD WINNER

Chief Information Security Officer for the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, Vito Rocco knows a thing or two about leading complex operating environments. He masterfully enables academic openness and research collaboration while providing strong governance and risk management, and ensuring resilient operations.

In fact, Rocco’s philosophy is based on “security as an enabler,” not as a constraint. Rather than defaulting to a quick “no,” he green-lights pathways with stated guardrails, repeatable patterns and shared accountability. He addresses complexity by creating clarity, drives adoption through partnership, and builds progress through prioritization and modernization.

These are successful approaches that have strengthened UNLV’s capacity and resilience, and advanced its risk management and compliance procedures. They also reflect on Vito Rocco’s strong, steady character – strongest and steadiest when the pressure is at its highest.

MIKE DEL PRADO
COMMUNITY EXEMPLARY AWARD WINNER

CEO of I-T consulting and advisory firm, Executive Option, Mike Del Prado helps organizations navigate complex technical issues. He specializes in enterprise resource planning, digital transformation, and technology governance, and has worked with the Clark County School District, Stations Casinos, Sony, D.R. Horton, and more.

And while his professional impact is significant, Mike’s commitment to his fellow veterans is particularly noteworthy. Dedicated to helping them successfully transition into civilian careers, he founded the Charlie-Mike Foundation – based on a military reference meaning, “Continue Mission.”

Through Charlie-Mike, he reminds veterans that their mission, and their service continue in new form. He connects them with local resources and trusted partners across industries who, like Mike Del Prado, are committed to providing mentorship, career guidance, and networking opportunities.

OUMAR WILLANE
INNOVATION AWARD WINNER

When Oumar Willane founded SaaS provider, CineMetrics in 2025, he had already built the technical foundation for a platform that would solve a problem others never even saw – that of revenue reporting and settlement between theatres, distributors, and producers.

Plagued for decades by spreadsheet reporting made up of hand-entered attendance reports, manual royalty calculations, and the complicated variances of film leases, Oumar’s platform streamlines and quickens the cumbersome reporting process, reducing the risk of errors that previously cost distributors thousands of dollars per year.

For IMAX and the likes of Giant Screen Theatres, museum theatres, and producers of documentaries and immersive experiences, Oumar Willane, who serves as CineMetrics’ Chief Technology Officer, has done what spreadsheets cannot; customize algorithms that handle the industry’s distinctive revenue mechanics.

BRYAN O’REILLY
START-UP AWARD WINNER

Bryan O’Reilly did a lot more for sports entertainment operators when he created and co-founded Evenplay, the patented AI-powered platform that creates personalized, skill-based challenges, he enabled players of all ability levels to compete fairly against one another.

Initially built for golf entertainment and simulator venues, O’Reilly’s platform extends into other sports and recreational activities, fuelling prizes and cash rewards driven by tournaments featuring players competing against benchmarks custom-tailored to their abilities, rather than an open field of players with varying degrees of skill.

The benefit of “levelling the playing field” for venue operators is higher consumer enthusiasm and engagement, increased tournament participation, and new streams of revenue, which ironically puts Bryan O’Reilly and his Evenplay in a field of its own.

CARISSA SIMAO
PRIVATE SMALL BUSINESS AWARD WINNER

In the short time Carissa Simao has served Storyville RD as the creative media and marketing agency’s I-T & Project Management Coordinator, she’s been the driving force behind tremendous technological innovation and operational transformation.

Independently designing, developing, and implementing new multiple mission-critical systems that streamline operations, reduce costs, and create scalable technology foundations, Carissa also serves as unofficial strategist, systems administrator, project manager and problem solver. She’s improved processes, redesigned workflows, and implemented cost-saving automations.

Taking every innovation from beginning – to middle – to end, Carissa Simao is the veritable story-teller without a pen. Substituting it for A-I technology and “vibe coding,” she builds bridges between operational needs and technical execution… enabling Storyville RD to continue helping others tell their stories.

JOSH STAPLES
PRIVATE LARGE BUSINESS AWARD WINNER

Director of Information Technology at Steinberg Diagnostic Medical Imaging (SDMI), Josh Staples approaches technology as a tool not just to improve systems, applications and infrastructure, but to improve patient care, support physicians, and make life easier for the people who rely on it every day.

He’s championed the adoption and implementation of numerous initiatives; from A-I solutions that reduce scan times, enhance MRI image quality, and streamline radiology reporting, to breast cancer and lung nodule assessment tools that help identify early onset. Josh has also been instrumental in improving processes and procedures throughout SDMI that enable more focused patient care.

It’s just what he does. Suited with technical acuity, Josh Staples is driven by an innate desire to improve lives, and a willingness to find and implement technical solutions for just that purpose.

ROB KAY
PUBLIC BUSINESS AWARD WINNER

Currently, Senior Manager of Enterprise Security Technology for Netflix, Rob Kay is deploying cutting-edge technological defenses for the highly anticipated Netflix House Las Vegas, an immersive, year-round destination for fans to physically experience, dine, and shop their favorite cinematic universes.

Rob’s defense build-out – a cadre of sophisticated security ecosystems comprised of AI, automation and advanced data-driven analytics, is designed to operate invisibly, securing fans without interrupting their experience. It’s a highly-scalable proactive architecture that flips the script on traditional reactive security models.

The system also exemplifies Rob Kay’s leadership approach, which is just as human-centric. In his short tenure at Netflix, he has torn down silos, cultivated cross-functional collaborations, and coalesced focus around employee wellness; creating a proverbial technological sandbox where experimentation can happen without fear of failure.

MORRIS JACKSON
TOP TECH OF THE YEAR

When CEO of Valhallan Esports Training, Morris Jackson developed the online e-sports platform, he did more than create a place for young enthusiasts to game, he masterfully engineered a comprehensive ”youth development”  pipeline that connects kids, parents, schools, and colleges.

His “Valhallan Esports League,” comprised of once-regionalized leagues he merged together, enables competition from all across North America on one interconnected “stage.” And Jackson’s “Legendary Path” curriculum connects video games with real-world tech skills, like Minecraft to engineering and systems thinking, and Rainbow Six Siege to cybersecurity principles.

Driven by Morris Jackson’s commitment to prioritize long-term community impact, and apply technology as an investment in today’s youth, the Valhallan Esports League grants free access to all schools and verified 501C-3 nonprofits. It also goes beyond providing stimulating gaming interconnectivity by helping kids connect their passion for e-sports with tangible STEM life skills and crucial soft skills, and encourages them toward careers in tech.
